When Nubases Step In

Nubas is a newbie; in a DoTA world. But we use it to address a person with a very little experience in doing something, or just discovered a new thing.

You know when someone is a nubas in Zapin dance if...

• They give you that blank look; like there's a big "kalau main pusing je pastu asalkan jadi boleh tak?" bubble on their head. You can't read it with your naked eyes. The expression tells it all.


• They keep jumping in the middle of the song, trying to follow what everybody else is doing, like they know what they're doing; but apparently, what they are doing is totally pointless. Then they make a blank face again.


• They keep saying "alaaa... tersalah plak time tu patutnye buat ni bla..bla..bla.." Just to cover mistakes they have made.


• They look frustrated. Like all the time.


• Most important is that they have a cheat sheet!!! To dance! Just imagine... These are some steps with funny name they made up.

But those nubases aren't giving up. They keep trying until Azizi can smile. Lucky him, he gets to make the girls go all "Alaa Jiji dah tak senyum!" and we'll try our best not to make him mencebik! OMG YOU SO OWE US JIJI. *wink*wink*
