We're not to blame, lets Midwest-ing

Do you know that regular flu killed more than 30,000 people in the United States last year?

Do you have any numbers in mind right now as to how many death from the swine flu might be?

I guess we're just too little overreacted, don't you think? Yeah, yeah, yesterday there were 3009 lab confirmed cases of swine flu, but today it rises to 3352. It's a WOW phenomenon. And 3 deaths reported up to this date.

I'm still positive about this.

I mean, yeah, so far swine flu virus has developed resistance to two of the four antiviral drugs available on market. But still, if we're being a clean freak for a bit of time I guess we're going to survive the pandemic. Yes, they were right when they said swine flu has full potential to be a pandemic. It is now.

It is more likely for a person to be struck by a lighting or hit by a car than dead from a swine flu virus. That was what Tim told me this evening. Well it makes sense in a way.

I know why people are freaking out about this - coz there were death cases reported to that. MAYBE, maybe, the dead person was immunocompromised, or really really old, or was admitted to the hospital too late after being infected?

Lets think of it this way, we go to 2009 Midwest Games and have fun, shall we? MWG09 committee worked hard for this, and they want us to support the event. But remember, avoid close contact with sick people. And sick people, get tested already!!

Go to this page and check for drugs available in store, now!
