Something better

I want to make a change. I want something better for the future generation, for my kids, for my grandkids and so on. I was talking to a professor this morning. Random. He asked where I graduated from (a question I hate to answer; long story short, I hate expectations) and then he told me "You must be having culture shock over here". I was taken aback by his statement. Well, I can't say I'm not. I definitely am having culture shock and still NOT OVER IT. So get over it.

He told me to observe how people work in the lab (he meant the lab assistants), and how students have trouble graduate on time. He said because everything done in the lab was delayed. Everyone is taking everything so easily.

Procrastination. Easy answer.

And I think I'm beginning to understand why our country is 100 years behind developed country. Well, the corruption among the leaders, for a start and the time management. Not to point a finger on anyone. Just generally. Everything in this country is corrupted. From government to non-government people.

First off, why can't we have an awesome crime lab to solve these unsolved cases? For sure, I watch CSI a lot and I know US isn't any better either but at least they have an awesome lab. Awesome labs make work finish faster. Are we ok here? Good. Aside from lab, we need people who actually brilliant to work in the lab. And aren't controlled by the superior.

I think polices and those who work to prevent the crimes.... SHOULD BE FREE FROM POLITICAL INFLUENCES. So they won't be bought to manipulate the case or something. Or to stupidly asking for new DNA sample. Like wth? DNA isn't changing in forever (unless weird mutations occur in the body of course). I know, nowhere is perfect. Not even Japan, US, Canada or SG or any other awesome countries.

That's too much to ask for, I guess.

But I still want to make a change, even if it's a small change. I am now a tutor and in 7 years insyaAllah, I'll be a lecturer. I wanna be a better lecturer. I guess there ARE reasons why Allah and MARA sent me to US. I learned, I observed and I hope to preserve the good manners I learned from people in that country.

And if that's too much to ask, still..

I wanna be a better person and contribute something to the future generation..

I'm praying for all these shits to end soon.
