Ever wonder why services in Malaysia are freaking slow? This is what my brother and I discussed earlier: Well, based on our observation. GENERAL observation. Or we can say LAME obversation. You choose.
Office hour: 8.00am to 4.30pm
Punch in - 7.59am
Walk to desk - half an hour (including gossips, coffee and stuff)
Switching on the computer - 15 minutes (if the computer is already on, process of logging in takes forever because they use a bunch of old computers)
Checking emails - forever (including replying email and forwarding stupid mails which will annoy the recipients like me)
This not ends here. FACEBOOK - forever (2 notifications takes 30 minutes including stalking activity and replying to people's comments and status)
If they have only FACEBOOK, they will probably play the kid games offered by FACEBOOK - what? I can't name one coz I'm not playing and I don't know what's available at the moment.
If they have multiple interesting sites to check - twitter, blogger, tumblr - it'll take more than forever.
Check the clock. Ah! 9.30am. Should do work now.
Typing what's supposed to be typed.
Reading stuff.
Reading other stuff.
And more reading.
Typing whatnot.
BORED and tired.
Look for newspaper and grab a coffee.
Look at the clock: 9.58am - BREAKFAST TIME.
Takes forever to go downstairs (while chatting and slowly walking down the hall and stuff).
EAT. EAT. TALK. EAT. DRINK. TALK. And more TALK.
10.39am - walk back to office -- takes forever.
11.58am - ready for lunch.
2.00pm - get back to work(?) if there's any.
2.05pm - refresh everything every 5 seconds.
4.15pm - pack up and ready to leave.
EVER WONDERED WHY THEY'RE SO SLOW?
This is just my image (well, I've worked in an office once before so I pretty much get how office people work and my friends are telling me the same thing so YEAH).
This applies only to people who are not really productive or in short - LAZY.
Next, ever wonder why our customer services suck? Tepuk dada tanya sendiri orang yang keja tu.
