I went to MidValley with Zyha yesterday. And since today is Valentine's day, there were A LOT of people looking for presents - anything in the shop they could find, be it cute, expensive or cheap.
We went into this one shop where it sells teddy bears and cute things, really cute things. I could not help but stare at the two guys looking for presents, well, for their girlfriends, of course. It's too cute. They were hopelessly hopeless. Not that it's a bad thing. Well, I just found it cute when a boyfriend is trying so hard to make his girlfriend happy. You know, buy something he thought would be nice for his girl.
I smiled at them and walked. I wanted to help but I guess it's better for them to choose the present themselves. I wouldn't want my boyfriend to get help from a stranger too. And worst, from a girl-stranger.
And though I don't celebrate V-days, I respect those who wanted to. Their personal choice. You can't change their way of thinking, right? So yeah. It's just nice to see a couple exchanging gifts. But in Japan, a girl would give chocolate to the boy, whether to express gratitude or to express her feelings towards him. I have a person I wanna give a chocolate to. Someday. :)
