It's been 5 months!

Today marks the 5th month I'm in The Netherlands. What I could say about this country is that I love it so much. Funny, the first Dutch word I learned is korting, it means discount. HAHA

I thought it would be somewhat hard what with the language barrier and all. But I was wrong. They speak perfect English! At first I hated their system. Whenever I want to do something with someone, I need to make an appointment. Everything is with an appointment! But then I came to understand why they did what they did. Efficiency! And they don't like to waste their time waiting or doing nothing. I totally get it.

And then there are my colleagues. We can say that we're one step closer to becoming one big clingy family. We work every day 8-5 and yet on Friday evening we still want to hangout summore. We always have plans planned. I feel comfortable and I like it.

And then there's this guy, M. It's safe to say now I have quite a crush on him. He's one of my colleagues. That's where the line should be drawn. I think. HAHA when I first came to the office, I didn't really notice his existence. I'm like "M who?" until one night in January where we decided to hangout at a bar. I sat next to him and we talked about random stuff. I learned a lot about him. He doesn't drink, he's a vegetarian and he doesn't smoke either. Perfect or what, I said to myself. That was the night I noticed that he has nice facial features lol whut.

Then I came to like being around him more and more. Problem is, he doesn't know that he's being too nice to me and he could hurt me like hell in the future. I talked to a girlfriend about this and she is so happy if I could be together with him but I said "I don't know. I don't know what I want," but she supports me anyway. She's happy for me so I guess all I can do is try. ;))

He persistently asked me to join the gym and play with him and I finally did. I'm glad I did. We play squash every Tuesday and I join my other classes as well. I even lost 6kg since I first came here I don't know how.

Last Tuesday we were supposed to play squash for 1.5 hours. I came to his room because he just moved to a new room and I wanted to check out the place. We ended up not going to the gym and hangout listening to music and watching him cooking. He even made me pancake. Nice one! Then I asked for honey to go with the pancake and since he's not taking any sugary stuff, he didn't have it. While eating, he said "I'll get some honey for next time." AND TELL ME HOW CAN I NOT BE SOLD WITH THAT. I don't need honey, baby, you're sweet enough for me. HAHAHAMAMPOSKENAKEJI. And what do you know! He texted me last night saying he got the honey so "..you don't have to eat blank pancake again."

I'm dead, am I?
