Robert osgoodicus taught me all these

p/s Disturbing and gross video of worm in intestine. Dare to see it? It's MILD, not very the disturbing laaa. Tengok la tau!!

I found that video in an attempt to search for Ascaris lumbricoides. It's a large intestinal worm that can be as big as a pencil diameter and up to 10cm in length. It's horrible. Just watch it, but mind the language. Takkan faham lah ape dorang cakap.

If I am a microbe, my name would be Nuras fayinenosa. I create my own genus and species. Researches would never know about me being pathogenic or non-pathogenic. I will defend myself. For I already have all antibiotic resistant genes within me, and all protective mechanism they would never expect.

I learned a lot in this course. It's interesting, really. But if you're a freaking paranoid person I suggest you not to take this course. Or any other Infectious Disease related courses.

Soon you will know that we share lives with bacteria, nematodes, viruses, and listless miniatures our naked eyes can't see. And you will be surprised that by washing hands or praticing good sanitation is the best prevention ever exist. It's all in our basic daily life routine. Knowledge too, is important for us. Well, do you know that some organisms can live in referigerator temperature below zero degree? Sometimes, it will enhance its growth.

Do you know that you can pick up organism just by sharing drinks with your friends? Or inoocently standing right beside an infected person who just sneezed? Yes, gross. Now you know that we share the air too!

And if you're a microbe, what would you do to make sure that you survive the condition, and maintain your generation at the same time? Of course you will create your own confort zone, where you can have an endless food supplies and the temperature is just right for you to reproduce.

It's just the same with man. By man I mean human. We like warm place, certainly not on the snow, right? Well I do. Ordinary people will be comfortable living around 25-27 degree Celcius. I don't know about extraordinary people, though. I never had a friend who likes living in 37 degree Celsius room.

Ok my features:
Scientific name: Nuras fayinenosa.
Colonies morphology: Small, shiny and smooth surface (aka housewives club)
Cell morphology: Spiral and pleomorphic (change in shapes/moods).
Gram stain: Blue (positive).
Virulence factor: To man, tears; to girls, actions; to boyfriend, both.
Communicable level: Highly communicable (highly infectious).
Mode of transmission: Droplets, inhalation acquired.
Disease caused by organism: Menangisitis, mencarutidis, merepekusa.
Symptoms of having this organism: Just one - great, unpredictable moodswing.
Diagnosis: Samples on SALE stores.
Treatment: Shopping trips, group discussion.

Pretty much it.

Good luck for finals!!

Up to no good,
♥ pao.
