Ok first, girls can do whatever boys can. I play soccer and injured. So? That doesn't change the fact that I am a girl, does it?

We were having kedai-kopi-style discussion on topics related to 1Malaysia. I don't say this often but folks, you guys are awesome. And I'm impressed that you know a lot about what is happening. Not that I was looking down on that matter but yeah, you know teenagers. They just wanna have fun. When I was your age, I knew nothing about current issues. All I wanna do was to have fun and I was such an ignorant.

Well, tak semestinya main-main tu tak boleh serious, right?

However, I didn't get the chance to say that much because I was too busy listening to people and smiling like I was watching some sort of majlis dewan punya discussion. I was literally AMAZED. I had a lot to say but then again, you guys spoke for me. ;)

Lets review.

My opinion on Dasar Ekonomi Baru.
Ok, we Melayu dapat quota dalam 30%. But dari tarikh DEB ditubuhkan smpai skang, peratusan kaum Malaysia dalam sektor ekonomi is still less than 20%. Who to blame? Adekah kite sendiri yang tak mahu ambil peluang tu sebab kite dah rase selamat dengan kewujudan quota yang kerjaan dah tetapkan. Let say kerajaan mansuhkan DEB tu sendiri. Do you think that we Melayu can survive the future dengan mindset yang masih dalam keadaan "ambil mudah"? Tepuk dada tanya diri sendiri.

My opinion on 1Malaysia itself.
Need I say more? This is a 'newborn' concept introduced by our very PM, Najib. Well for me, talk is cheap. Najib brought this thing up coz it's a tradition for a new PM to have their own vision and mission in ruling the country. I'm not saying that I don't agree with him. But could someone please clear this up? Or perhaps Najib sendiri?

I know, most Malaysians support this concept dengan melulu because it was said by Najib. No, wait. I didn't get that right, did I? Yeah what I'm saying is that whatever new things yang come up, pasti ada yang menyokong dan membantah. Same thing happens here, people. At first I thought I was the only one that's left behind. Then I started reading column by column, written in The Malaysian Insider. I get the big picture. But from that very concept, banyak persoalan lain yang masih belum terlerai. Conclusion, orang Malaysia perlukan lebih keterangan. Plus, they need to learn accepting things not because of who says it, but what it could do to us.

Taknak lah tulis berkajang-kajang. Lets just say, some changes are good and some are not. But lets survive the harsh situation and live in harmony. Tapi kalau pemimpin sendiri bergaduh? Hah!
