Of Alamanda and SKVE at night

It's not the best idea to travel with someone who doesn't know their way around here. Plus, you don't know your way around here yourself. XDD

And so the story began with the four of us gadis-gadis who decided to meet up for the very last time before Ecah leave us for US again. I went with Athirah from Bangi and Ecah went to fetch Dila at Putrajaya. I knew how to get to Alamanda but not from Alamanda to Bangi. I know, silly right?

Anyways, though the meeting was quite short, I'm glad I took the chance to meet Ecah or else I have to wait for another 2 years or so.

The scary thing happened next.

In the original plan, Ecah should send Dila and the two of us will go straight back home. But I offered to send Dila instead. No, I'm not driving. Tira did. Putrajaya is huge! (for someone who never been there and driving at night. Yes, me and Tira).

I thought we were on the right track but we weren't! We miss the exit and headed straight to Dengkil, Pulau whatever2, Ayer Hitam (I don't know that Selangor has Ayer Hitam!), Saujana Putra and bla bla bla. Places we've never been to. I've never heard of half of the places. We entered the SKVE (hell I don't know what it stands for) highway and headed to Shah Alam. "Yabai!" I thought. And so we asked kakak toll booth and she said to make a U-turn. Once again, we entered the SKVE highway and headed straight to Kajang.

It was my first time screaming when seeing "Bangi" or "Kajang" signboard. Hell we were so happy to see that ok! It's one of the sign that we've survived the scary night. I forgot to mention that our gas tank is... 1/4 full? Oh yes, we're 40 km away from home and Tira drove at full speed at first. I asked her to slow down as I remember Asmaa told me that speed = minyak abes!

But we survived. And I swear not to go out at night again. Not with someone who isn't familiar with the routes.

Laugh all you want. But this is a true, scary story. Not too scary but scary enough to make me a good daughter. I would never make my parents stay up and wait for me. *sweats*
