Asmaa and I went to Singapore for a weekend getaway! :D We went solely for Cold Stone hunting, I swear! Oh yes, I'm serious.
Day 1, at around 11am (after much efforts to get out of bed), we went straight to Cold Stone Creamery. It took us almost half an hour walk from where we were staying. We stayed on the Orchard Road, an area not for us. ;) It's like Fifth Ave. in NYC. So yeah, that sums it. You can find every posh brands lie Chanel, Miu Miu, erm.. pretty much everything (in which I couldn't care less to take note coz I don't have that kinda money to spend in those shop).

| Cold Stone dude! So nostalgic. |
| My fave signature dish - Chocolate Devotion. Umph! Everything chocolate. |
| Happy kid with her catch. |
Later that afternoon we went to Marina Bay for a walk. To see what's there and so we could tell people "I've been there". Nothing interesting. Unless you're aiming to get onto the Wheel so yeah it would be pretty interesting. But walking under the 100000degree heat was not really the kind of walk I was looking for. My shirt was wet from the sweat. YIKES!
| AND WE WALKED FOR ALMOST AN HOUR FOR THIS DUDE OVER HERE. Damn you Lion head. But it was worth the walk. ;) For one of the Arashi members had taken a picture with this guy, now I can say that I have too. HAHA |
| In the middle of the city. Somehow it reminds me of Chicago. |
| The escalator in the MRT gave me the dejavu feeling to when I was in Washington DC, riding a metro. :D |
| Tea time. Free food provided by the serviced apartment. |
| View from our room window. PRETTY. |
| Lucky I didn't drop my iPhone when I took this. |
At around 5 in the evening, we went for a walk around the street. In front of the apartment we were staying (mind you, we stayed at the serviced apartment worth of SGD 10K per month. freaking expensive!), there's a building called Takashimaya, a shopping complex (also not for us LOL). But something is there, FOR US. Finally. :D KINOKUNIYA!! I love books. Who doesn't?
| And there I found my boys on the news board. *cries* And of course I bought the book full with Japanese words, which I can't understand. Ugh |
After that, we went to Forever 21 and we bought some unnecessary stuff. Oh well, it's for raya, we told ourselves. But it's cheap! ;) Cheaper than the ones in Malaysia. Hihi
| Asmaa's catch of the day. Total of $38. |
| MY catch of the day, total of $22. |
| Night view along the street. |
| We found a PuriKura (google it!) machine and played one! For it requires YEN money, we have to change $ to YEN, thus, this 100yen money. We took pictures and decorate the pictures until it came out very super meccha pretty that it doesn't look very reliable. We're too pretty in the picture. That's how Japanese people love it. Being pretty in the picture. |
| Unsuccessful movie night. We were watching this movie for merely 10 minutes and friends of Asmaa's mom came and they talked until morning. LOL I lied. I fell asleep waiting them to finish so we never resume the movie. HAHA |
| So when the movie night failed big time, I decided to call Azizi and face-timing with him! :D It was so funneh. |
Day 2 - GOING BACK AWH SO SAD. I'll come back with more money, SG. I promise.
| Some cute robots they placed in the park. I don't know for what purposes. |
| My owl - Hedwig. |
| My guitar - Kinny. |
BOOKS I BOUGHT FROM KINO. I SPEND ~$180 for books. *GASP*
| Breakfast of Champion by Kurt Vonnegut. |
| Talk about compulsive buyer. I grabbed this book on the shelve just like that. Just because Asmaa hold it in her hand and I took it and read the synopsis and fell in love with the story. HAH! Plus, it's cute. I'm so dead. |
| I've been wanting this book for like months now. And when I saw one this morning (yes, two trips to Kino in two days WHEE), I took it without any hesitation. :D |
| Aaaannnddd yeah, most of my money goes here. Some of Arashi-related books I bought, which you probably don't care about. But yeah, I'm content. |
All in all, I love my Singapore trip! ;D And I love the Singaporean driversssss. WEEE~
