Driving in Malaysia

You probably know how much I hate stupid no manners Malaysian drivers, by now. Or not. Anyway, I don't have enough energy to rant about those drivers and waste my space on this entry. I'm gonna tell you about my first roadtrip in Malaysia. Well, if you consider that as a roadtrip.

It all started when Hanaimi sent Dila and me a message inviting us to Napi's brother's wedding. FUH! I ym-ed Dila and she said "JOM MOK". Oh yeah, she heard me. So we decided to go to Jasin to attend the event.

To tell the truth, I don't have confidence to go with just the two of us. But I put an act and said that it's going to be fine. I trust Dila to drive me all the way to Jasin. And guess what? SHE DID. SHE DID DRIVE ME. And we came back safe and sound and pretty damn tired. She drove back too. I was just a small co-pilot who did nothing but talked, talked and talked. Oh, I helped her when she wanted to change lane. Oh yes, cooperation works on the road too, mind you.

I know we were both too nervous to start the journey. But we were determined to do it. I have to say that I am impressed with her driving skill. The best so far, for beginner. And I could say she's a better Malaysian driver than me. Yes, I was a good driver back in States but NOT HERE. Malaysian drivers kill me long time ago.

You know, Dila never really drove back in States. And I once taught her how to control the car and she ended up in the opposite lane, which I honestly freaked out.

And you know, the best way to deal with young driver like us is silence and please, do not criticize our driving. Please, you're not a better driver than us. Well, it's annoying to be honest. I don't need to hear what you have to say. And you can keep it to yourself. BUT, I don't mind you sharing or teaching me a better way to control the car or whatever that is. No harsh comments, please. Oh yes, there are people like this. I've had few experiences with this type of people.

This is not how I want this entry to turn out to be. I suck at writing when I'm darn tired. I'll leave it to you to judge the fun we had while driving. Yes, the noobies on the road, is FUN. And the gossiping part did help a lot, I tell you people.
